rjc123 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 If you hit it at night with a high tide around 10 then you'll be in with a shot at big jew, especially this time of year. Big Bream are also on the cards. A strip of mullet fillet is my favourite. Put in a bit of time here and it WILL pay off eventually!
tba003 Posted July 21, 2012 Author Posted July 21, 2012 Yea my last hew came from that spot an high tide was at 9 last might just a really unlucky trip all the signs were good before leaving, might go again tonight high is at 10
tonez Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I went there last week to flick a few plastics. Tried the beach area and the wharf new the boat ramp for a big fat donut. Some guys next to me on the wharf were fishing with prawns. They got nothing also. Strange cos that spot is usually ok for a couple of bream and the odd jew. I wonder if anyone has had any luck up the parra river lately?
