JaniFIN
Hi there. I start my boat yestarday evening 7.30pm. Plan is, that i spend all evening on river and lake, was so nice sunshine ext. I did drive same area that las time: HERE I "parkering" between 2 sream and start casting. I testing differend softplastics and one softtplastic lure, what is not soft (jigi wobler) . I get allso one small bag test soft plastic (motor oil green with copper glitter), and they said that i get it free if i gif they raport how it fishing. Ok, but i get nothing after 1 hour casting. I thinking that time to change place. I did drive 100-150m over streaqm and parkering same area, where i get firs fishes that first time. There was all family home. Firs cast that motoroil green test softplactic (7cm) with 10g head, lure sinking only 1-2 meter and fish on, guite good size allso. Use my net, and firs fish on boat I continue casting, and everytime was some happening, least fishs testing my lure. I get couple really good size Redfin perchs that same lure, and some smaller what i did realese. Then i start testing different lures. I testing some aussie softplastics, same what i get flathead silver colour, that i get couuple of fishes. Then i testing that "jigi wobler", i feel fishs try hit that, but not hooked. I allso testin one yellow/white big softplastic, 4", but it was too big allso, i feld hits , but not hooked. I change back that motoroil green, and again start happen, iget more fishes. Then start lightly rain and coming quite dark, but i still continue fishing, get some fishes. Wind start be quite heavy, and was difficult feering when lure is bottom, then start heavy rain and heavy wind, i had to go back to harbour, but my fihraider hat cover my hed on rain when i did drive back Evening was nice, i havent get so many big Redfins before, and i have fishin over 20 years. Thanks for softplastic, and Roberta and Stewy hows hooked me this fishing style I fishing 2 and haf hours (first hour i get nothing) and get 20 Redfins, 10 i take it home for eating. That 10 fih size was: 180g, 240g, 240g, 290g,370g, 430g, 430g, 470g, 490g and 500g, what is it my new lure fishing record Nice fish for fishing, pulling allmoste like bream, but taste good. arpie
Wooho!! Well done, Jani!! That is a terrific result after a slow start. I've always liked those silver coloured ones - so many small bait fish have something silver on them! I like the fact that you don't end up smelling like rotten bait fish at the end of the day!! Congratulations on your new Soft Plastic PB, Jani! That is terrific! Please pass on Keith & my regards to Saija & give the bub a hug! cheerio Roberta And a Big Happy Birthday to you as well!! JaniFIN
I find some info your Redfin perch in NSW :Here There says: "Redfin can grow to 60 cm in length and around 10 kg in weight, but are more commonly found up to 45 cm and 1-2 kg." What a h...ll??? Really? Here is commonly get 10g to 300g, wintertime 10g-100g. Finland record redfin is: 2,87kg, but over 100g is good size, over 300g is it quite big if fishing lakes. On sea is commonly get 100g-400g redfins, but over 500g is big anyway.
