hey raiders

sorry i didnt do a report on this earlier i didnt have an account then so anyway:

Went down to newport beach this time last year, not anticipating anything cause i have never caught anything off the beach beforethumbdown.gif

so i went down and cast out a beach worm and waited, nothing happened for 15 mins so i checked if my bait was still on the line and as it got close to the shore i felt something pulling i was so happybiggrin2.gif and it ended up being a 46cm flattieyahoo.gif. So it was getting quiet after that so i moved down the beach a bit. Waited a few minutes and something hits my bait i pick it up and i have another fish on the linebiggrin2.gif i rell it in and it is a 38cm whiting1yikes.gif i didnt know they grew this big. Another 20 minutes later i catch another whiting which was 32cm. It ended up being a great day at the beach and i was really happy with myselfthumbup.gif

Good work Flattie Fisher - love a decent beach report. I think there are a lot more fish available on the beaches and rocks than most people think. My theory is that rivers and oceans can get netted and trapped. but the rocks are untouched by Pro's, and the beaches usually only get targeted in the mullet run.

THanks,

The Poacher
