Better for you in the end, although I wouldnt feel comfortable out that far alone.

Spoke to a mate today who deckies on a charter boat & he tells me that they bagged out on Gemfish to 8kg. Got a couple of Perch & an Alfonsino......did say it was abit slow. About 1 knot of current, 17 degree water temp.

No sharks,no seals.....happy days

thanks for the replys there are a few fish out but its not like last month have to search a bit harder forgot to mention in post we also bottom bashed 102fathom line line the shelf and would you believe we got leatherjackets
