Lip/Boga Grip Advice

Hey Raiders,

In process of buying more tackle : D

Im after a lip/Boga Grip with a digital scale on it.

Ive checked online shop and there are a few which look a bit elcheapo.

Can anyone recommend a good set?

depending on the type of fishing you do, id recommend the plastic "peg" type grips. they're cheap, float and won't rust. you can even get glow in the dark ones for night fishing. I use a pair and I bought a set of digital scales that you can hook them on to. I find its easier to release fish without the worry of dropping the scales in the drink or getting them wet

Yeah as soon as you get the digital ones wet or drop them there no good i just got one with standed scales but dont like using the scales cause you cant support the fish if you want to let it go

I share the same concerns regarding supporting the fish however; the normal fish scales i see all have gill hooks on them, I would assume they would be just as harmful.

Maybe one of those sheets that u can slide the fish on and then just weigh it that way.

OK point taken about them getting wet lol might just stick to the mechanical scales.

I dont lift them up there used just to hold the fish when geting the brag matt ready
