Brett one of the best spots at penrith used to be at the weir but its all changed now,cant even walk along it or fish 100m upstream n 25m down stream from it. Used to chatch 100s of herring there and some large bass.People still fish along the bank towards the rowing club for bass but no size to them.Best option float with earth worms,grubs,insects or can spin lures over the other side of the bridge to the left.
