Guest Jocool Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 This one has a twist. I liked the sound of the name of the park that I pulled up in to take this picture. So I want the name of the waterway...AND...the park I was standing in to take it.
Guest Jocool Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Thats a toughy Joe. Outside Sydney ?? 58559 Define SYDNEY!
Guest Jocool Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 South of the Hawkesbury, north of Royal National and east of the foot of the mountains ?? 58566 OK...fine...its in Sydney
Guest Jocool Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I'm feeling generous....Let's see if another piccie helps.
Guest bluecod Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Confluence of the MacDonald and Hawkesbury Rivers, but as yet Joe, I don't have a name for the reserve
Guest bluecod Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 (edited) i tihnk its definatly the hawkesbury but i dont think its the macdonald (altho i have been wrong before) i think it might be up lower portland way, as for the name of the park who knows... 58604 On second thoughts Chris I'd agree, its not the MacDonald but the Colo - there is a reserve on the northern bank - back to my sources for the name EDIT: Let's go for Skeleton Rocks Reserve Edited July 19, 2005 by bluecod

I even checked on-line, and couldn't find a mention of it. I thought FINALLY...I have confounded that Bluecod guy! I had a grin from ear to ear when you mentioned the Macdonald. Boy was I mistaken! Spot on George! By the way, nice stretch of water. Here is another view looking BACK from where i stood.
