troutboy
I am thinking about some trout fishing this afternoon as they really seem to come on the bite with a steady or rising barometer. Conditions are perfect at the moment but isnt that always the way when your at work!

troutboy
Same results here im afraid andrew! Fished wentworth falls lake yesterday afternoon anticicpating a hot bite but was dissapointed with no hits and only 1 follow in 3 hours fishing! Definately not what i have come to expect from a steady or rising barometer. Better than being at work thats for sure.
Lizardboy
You could be right about the moon JD, from reports the barometer didn't really seem to stir things up....bloody winter I chucked some large plastics around roseville bridge for an hour and a half either side of the tide, to no avail...as per usual....I've clocked up a lot of hours in the area over the last couple of years always concentrating around tide changes day and night and never even had a hit from a jew...I'm ready to give up on the whole roseville area and try either the lane cove or the cowan! jewnut
The 3 Andrews used to get up there a fair bit and chuck placcies around the bridge and McGill's Hole, all to no avail, but we saw other mates get them in the same spots on the same plastics. 58909[/snapback] i fished Mcgills hole early friday and saturday morning for a few hours each day for no result. looks very promising though and i will definately put more time into. magical place to just cast away though!! gave the bridge a flick on the way out but no hits either.
