hot water outlet lake mac?

has anyone ever fished the hot water outlet up in lake mac? I have heard that they get cobia Giant hering, mangrove jacks, every thing up there, just wondering if anyone has fished it and can confirm it?

Can confirm not that true for mannering park. As for eraring well bull sharks have been caught nearby, the actual outlet water is quite warm and lacks fish you need to fish sides of it or well out front of it in boat. Very shallow there and fisheries are regular visitors there.

yea i wasnt to sure if i had heard right when they said what they had caught in the past, i am thinking of giving it a go this week, so you reckon fish a bit down stream from the outlet? where the water isnt so warm?

Fished it before plenty of bream up there in winter caught a leather jacket as well and heard a few stories about goo flatties as well. Wen during shocking weather tho so pretty happy with catching a few decent fish despite the conditions
