Whitsundays / Nth Qld holiday advice?

Hey guys,

Planning to head up north for a week and we can't decide where to go, i'd like island resort and free of backpackers etc but somewhere that has sailing, diving and of course fishing and has nice accomodation. We've been to Hayman Island and have been looking at Green Island, anyone been there or have any other experience with places up there?

Even up past Cairns etc is on the cards if it is nice.

Are you referring to Green Island just of Cairns? If so from I am led to believe the island is swamped with Day trippers. Hinchinbrook island might warrant some research?

Yeh that's the one mate, also looking at Heron Island.

Need something for both of us and something for her while i go get my arms stretched fishing lol

Jack, you'd better check with the Heron people - I don't think any line fishing is allowed in that Marine park zone. And the island is only 10 acres in size, so there's not a lot to do unless you are a diver.
