muscle_17
Hi, could someone please provide me with some help, in regards to what sort of rigs, and how i should fish for Trevally, Salmon, Bream, Slimy mackeral. i would like to hire a boat this weekend at botany bay, but i never catch anything other then small snapper. (15 cm) ive heard for slimys you just gotta burly heaps and when they arrive just throw in 3 gram chrome slugs...is this true? in regards to trevally and salmon, whats the best hook size and rigs to use and where? I am limited to where i can go in the bay, i can go Yarra Bay, molinux point and kurnell. thanks fishos (i have 10 lb line, 3-4 kg rod)

matt_nsw
when driving towards the oil wharf at kurnell, you will see fish breading traps near the middle of the wharf about 50m before the wharf, the HWO is just on the right of them. you will see a boil and thats it. dont drive over it as the fish seem to disappear. anchor off it and start your burley trail. they shouldnt be too far off. the drums tend to attrack all the slimies
