Blood Knot Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 A bit time challenged today so left the boat at home, grabbed the flats rod and headed down to IC with a couple of poppers and a couple of surface walkers. Took a little while to find the sweet spot but started to get amongst them by 6.30 - 7-00am. Nice and overcast with the high tide starting to push up. Caught a couple of bream and 4 or 5 whiting. No great size to any of them, but always fun on surface lures. All caught on the little river to Sea Rover in the pics. Back home at 9.30 to start the days chores LOL - Couple of very average Iphone pics to go with the report Cheers Blood Knot
Jewhunter Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Very nice mate. Great to see the fish in there hitting surface lures. Sounds like a fun session! Cheers, Grant.
bassboy888 Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Nice work blood knot! lets hope this summer continues like this with all the surface action
Robinsoi Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Great report John and well done on a nice early morning session! Some healthy looking fish there too! Thanks for sharing and keep up the nice work. Ian
pmak Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 IC is a great place to scratch that fishing itch - to do it on surface lures is a bonus! That R2S Rover is a great lure.
PlayerOne Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Nice work! I bought my first little popper recently & hoping to christen it during the holidays....
