Well its that time of the year again were Kev and I head down to Portland Victoria for our annual Family Fishing comp over 5 days. Day 1 and only half the fleet had arrived but the weather was abit on the windy side so we decided to stay in close and gather bait for the next day. We managed to rake in some small salmon yellow tail barracoota and squid all perfect baits for bigger fish the next day out. Weather reports were looking promising for the next 2 days and we were excited. Met up with cousin Terry and Kev and I teamed up again 4 years running as Team Whitewash. The plans were we head out early Day 2 as the winds were going to be light and smooth seas and Mako Shark was on our minds and revenge on the beast which we had lost near the boat in 2011 which was around the 100kg mark :ranting2: So we headed back late afternoon to set up the gear ready and freeze the bait for day 2 and hope for tight lines :1fishing1:
