Well the rest of the fleet had arrived overnight and its dawn and all are ready to head out. All shooting down the the ramp Team Whitewash - Team Viking - Team Pascoe - Team Edwin - Team Davo. All going our own ways we head out and our first stop was in 80m doing several drifts hoping for some gummies Snapper and other reef species. In the mean time we have out a few shark baits hoping we might find a mako lurking the surface. Several schools of Barracoota were seen jumping out of the water like little stripe marlin would do which was an awesome sight. Even the thought that prehaps they maybe being hunted down by something big prehaps. Abundance of bait small pilchards in the water as well. Its a good sign. It didnt take long and we found some good ground producing plenty of Snapper to 35 to 45cm, big leather jackets 40 to 45cm, Flathead 35 to 45cm, Naigai 40cm, Terraki Morwong and Barracoota in the mix as well. A good 4 hour period of productive fishing. No luck in finding a shark following our burley trail until we get a call from Team Viking who was 5kms from our location who radios us to say he has a Shark of considerable size following his boat but Chris was abit worried about feeding him a bait so Terrys Face lights up and :yahoo: gear up and its full steam ahead to Team Vikings location so we can lure the big boy to us :1yikes: Well we get there and he seems to be still around but we cant sight him had baits out but an hour gone and still nothing  prehaps he had better ideas and headed down deep never to be seen again. :ranting2: In the mean time all other teams had been doing well with Pinkies Flathead and Whiting in good numbers  Well it was mid afternoon and we decided to head back in as some of the others had already packed it in. Back to the ramp for weigh in and get ready for Day 3. Terry had a 20g advantage a 1.32kg Flathead over his brother Chris a flathead at 1.30kg and Jason who was fishing with Team Davo Flathead 1.20kg :biggrin2: Now it was game on for Day 3. :1fishing1:
