BelAir Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 (edited) Had a great session Thursday morning (6th) on the run up tide. 1m seas with 2-3m southerly swell had been predicted but the spot is protected from southerlies so there was enough action in the water to keep them interested. Caught one 1st cast, then after another 3 or 4 in a row there was a very short lull followed by down after down as it got towards the midday high tide. Most were full of roe and milt and they were right in the gutter fishing in close. Edited December 7, 2012 by BelAir

Pat Williams Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 great catch! I've just started fishing a few northern beaches spots for blackies, do you find they come on the bite more on a rising tide?
