fredflathead Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Just bought and fitted a Garmin Echo 300c and took it for a test run. The depth is fine. The alarms are fine. The fish icons fine. When I went to calibrate the speed it came up with an error, should I have paddle wheel sensor for the speed. Does anyone own one. thanks norm
Brewy85 Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 I've just installed one in my half cab and yeah, pretty sure you need a separate sensor (there's another port in the back of the display unit)
fredflathead Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 brewy 85 yes you do need the speed sensor, I now have one and the unit works great.
