Kingfish87su Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 g'day guys I'm gonna be heading down to JB for a week with the family for Christmas taking the boat down with me =D Just wondering if there's any good boat ramps around there I know there's one at culburra but I was told about one near Bowen island I forgot where the guy told me just wondering if anyone's knows which one I'm talking about.
Bentstik Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Its at Murrays Beach at the end of Jervis Bay Rd in the National Park which entry costs 11 dollars for 48 hrs from time of purchase. There is no pontoon to get on and off as it collapsed a while ago and has not been replaced and there is no beach to pull up on, its all rocks. Cheers

Bentstik Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 No worries, your mate is not wrong about being a good squid area but there are several other good if not better spots in the bay. The bag limit in the Murrays beach area is only 10 per person compared to 20 in the rest of the bay. Cheers
Kingfish87su Posted December 16, 2012 Author Posted December 16, 2012 Yeah I've got a couple of marks off fish raider for the bay there gonna be inside mainly, any tips mate? I heard the beaks have made their way down there
