Disappointing day on Kingies

Hi Guys

Sorry didn't post this earlier but went out last Friday for kingies. As soon as we got on the boat at Tunks there was a school of tailor in 3 casts I caught 2 we would have stayed but picked up a friend at clontarf. Got to the Balmoral kelp grounds was there for like 1hour got 3 little fish I have never seen in my life my friend caught the 3 fish then as soon as we were about to leave caught a drummer or blackfish on a handline with size 8 hook on bread was very fun with only using 4 pound line. Then went to middle head there for about 30min with the little fish caught nothing then went around next to the navy base caught zilch. Just released them and went to the marina to get a coffee. Then just dropped my friend back up at clontarf then went to the spit for squid didn't get a bite then just threw in the towel and went back.

Also going out on this Friday again could any of uses give me any good spots to use yakkas and slimies for kingies.
