tentonner Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Hi raiders. On the weekend my trailer bearings collapsed and caused pretty serious damage to my trailer. As a temporary solution I have our boat tied up to a rowing shed which I have access to. However the mechanic just rang to say he can't get the parts for the trailer until Jan 14. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for what I could do with my boat until jan 14 as I have no trailer for the moment? Am trying to avoid paying an arm and a leg so anyone's suggestions will be welcome. Cheers
Fab1 Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 What type of boat have you got?and what trailer damage was done?
tentonner Posted December 20, 2012 Author Posted December 20, 2012 The bearings collapsed and apparently there is axle damage. The boat is in hunters hill and I live in Frenchs Forest.

Blood Knot Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Google rack and stack boat storage - you may be able to get one of them to lift it out and store it for you for a week or two. Cheers Blood Knot
Day's Fishin Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Hire a boat trailer take it home and sit it on a couple of tyres it will load back on your trailer off the tyres when its ready and that way you will only have to pay for half a day hire. Good luck Jeff
