Hi Raiders,

I'm currently in Melbourne and have plans to fish Flinders Pier.

If anyone could let me know, what type of fish I could find here.

We're planning to go at night and target squid but would like to target other species.

Any help would be much appreciated

Night fishing of the pier. You will need a good casting rod. ( Beach rod ) The water is fairly shallow close. Cast out into the deeper water and you will pick up sharks. If you want to land them, then you will need a flying gaff as the pier is quiet high out of the water, especially at low tide. Good luck Jeff.
