wchh Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 (edited) Fished Mona Vale Beach with a mate from 7 pm to about 1 am. Due to lack of fresh baits (used frozen pilchards only), the whole session was really quite. The only actions were a bitten off at about 11:00pm and the capture of a bronze whaler just past 12:00 am. The fighting with the shark was fun and tricked me to believe it was a jew for the first powerful run, though game given away for the continued tug of war. The exhausted fish was released after a few quick photos. There were about 7~8 people fishing the beach last night. Wondering the results of the others. We may have another go in the next two days before going back to work and hopefully we could bump into something more desirable. Cheers Charles Edited December 30, 2012 by ABCfisho
Day's Fishin Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Their great fun when caught off the beach because you can walk along with their runs if parallel to the beach as they can have some blistering runs. Regards Jeff
