Guest Target
Hi guys, Its that time again, third wednesday of the month, and time for some of those of us with this weird obsession to get together and bash about some rod building ideas. This meeting will be an expansion on last months meeting where we went though the basics of rod building, from grips, to guide spacing, to wraps. If you are stuck on how to do something, feel free to bring along your latest project and get some tips from the Pros. (Not me, Allen will be there ) As always, happy to have everyone there - all levels of experience. Time: 7pm on Date: 15 September 2004 Location: Lillian Fraser Building - Bellamy Street, Pennant Hills Cost: A few dollars to cover room hire. Guest Target
G'Day Guys, Looks like we will have a good turn out this meeting again. The more the merrier. Bluecod, an 8 to 10 weight fly rod makes a good blackfish rod, just the right amount of slowness in the action. You can actually get the spey style fly blanks that are 10 to 12 foot in length also, which are even better as an ocean rocks blackfish rod with the extra length, or extend a normal fly rod.
