mattyg_16
Hey guys, Couple of pics from my three day trip to Windamere Dam over Christmas. Never fished it before but ended up with a dozen Yellowbelly and a Cod follow. Dropped a fair few as I was only using 6lb braid with 10lb leader. All fish were caught in deep water off rock ledges and drop offs on Vibe style lures like jackalls, feral catt and kokoda's. Had great fun and cant wait to go back, man those yella's are fat. pmak
Matt, I fished the lake for the first time for a few days over the new year and managed to get a few as well but on shallower water close to shore. You;re right - they are great fun to catch and are huge compared to bream and trevally I normally target! pmak
