herdsman
Hi fellow raiders, went out for a fish sat to my usual spot of late and started getting into the flathead all good sizes over 45cm, then i tried these rigs i brought of ebay, guaranteed, flathead rigs, seen it down on my abu soron outfit on a ugly stik 201b braid, and i catch this little beauty[ I then decided to go back to the start of my drift, and go to turn the engine over and nothing, not a thing, completely dead, plenty of power in the battery, just nothing from the key to the engine, lucky for me a mates fishing not to far away and i call him over, and we change batteries,to see if thats the problem, but still no joy, so he tows me in from 7ks out from north head all the way back to roseville boat ramp, what a legend he is thanks Jose. Roll on sat night, a mate phones me up,to see what i caught and i tell its really firing outside at the moment, and he say's lets go sunday,so never one to miss an opportunity to get on the water, out we go to the same terroritory more or less, and after a couple of hrs hitting the flathead and bonito, i drop down for 1 more time with a piece of an old octopus tentacle hopping for a snapper, after hitting the bottom for a second back the rod loads up and bends over double, i,m think big red as, it's banging all the way up, and winding up from 260ft its a long way let me tell you. My arms are aching like hell, then this bad boy shows up what a surprise, this fish went 72cm and close to 7.5kg top day.
