where to catch livies around montague island

anybody know where i can get some livebait (squid, yakkas or slimies) around narooma/ montague island ?

heading down for the weekend for some kingie action any advice would be good

Hey mate I'll be heading down aswell ! I'll be docked up to the big cat near the heads entrance !! U can get livies off the golf course

I can vaguely remember going out on a charter boat and getting slimies about 200 metres off shore in line with the golf course at Narooma.

However, I know the golf course takes up a lot of area along the coast. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Mate even near the wharf before the baths there's millions of yellow tail there ! That's where we will be mourned an the yakkas swim under the boat

work has changed my plans again but hopefully head down on wed night staying in batemans bay then get down to narooma friday or saturday weather dependent will try and pick up a few yakkas before heading over the bar and out to the island and into some kings
