Fly reel be ok to be used for blackfish?

Hello everyone, to those that chase blackfish , would you use a fly reel instead of a blackfish reel for blackfish, i dont have either and i have seen a number of used fly reels on auction that go cheaper then used blackfish reels, the added advantage that i can see is that fly reels weigh less then blackfish reels as well, what do you think?

Im no expert, but i think you should spend a few $$$ more and get a decent centrepin reel, especially if you are rockfishing for them as well? you want something pretty durable
