Where to get Livies in the Harbour

Hi fisho's canyone advise me where to get livies yellow tail and squid from in harbour launching boat at rose bay......

all advise appreciated me and my son chasing our hopeful1st KINGIE

I usually get yakkas and squid off the wharf next to the ramp at

Rose Bay before sun up, then we launch the boat.

Same, but don't get there 30 minutes before you intend to launch because you might disappoint yourself, if you want to do it in comfort get there 2 hours before you want to launch giving you plenty of time to target both yakka and squid, my regular fishing buddy targets the squid, whilst I get on yakkas, do not forget burley, but 90% of the time on weekend there will be others trying for yakkas also.

Hey shaun was nice meetting u ...we went over to clifton got 4 small squid and 1 yellow tail it was too dark to go looking as 1st time in harbour daylight we heade the rocks off north head for 2 bust offs then winds picked up went to manly for some breakkie and cruised around the edge back to drums at clifton for 1 68cm salmon and 1 55cm bonnie we were disappointed also but had a fun day STUPID WINDS...LOL
