ysamuel
Went to Norah Head for early morning, low swell nice day and caught these. Most of the fish were caught 1 hr after sunrise then quiet. Had a rest and decide to use prawns at 8:30am and to make surprise a nice 2.3kg groper on the first cast. rest of the morning quiet except for unsersized trevally. ysamuel
They are some sort of wrasse. The fish is sweet and soft with thin bones.
Basil D
The wrass sell for $30 a kilo. Cleaning is hassle but are very sweat. I like them steamed with ginger and shallot sauce Edited April 22, 2013 by Groper
