Fishing location

Hi raiders,

I've noticed some posts where guys refer to a spot called the wreck. Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on where this actually is and what sort of fish, tackle, anchor or drift etc.

hi Dan,

I,m a bit North of Sydney but out of Crowdy the Wreck is at 31.53.845s / 152.45.690e

On a good day it,s all on , bottom bashing with bait , flatties , try a jig! hold on Kingy will fool you.

Here we like to rig a bit big because to see 300m of 20lb zoom off into the blue has happened too often .And the Snapper are about to come in ooh yea

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the info. I thought there was one outside sydney harbour heads. I have heard that long reef has a lot of wrecks, apparently it used to be a dumping ground for old barges and boats.
