camb1988 Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Hey fellow raiders. Have managed to snag a couple of days off late next week leading into the weekend so am heading down the south coast traveling in between bawley and ended. Just wanted to check how the fishing is currently and if its worth having a crack for the odd king still?
Benzeenees Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Kings have been quiet recently, at least around Broulee Is and Moruya Heads. Saw one that had been caught off Bawley Point about 3 weeks ago. And the next day I berleyed up a big school of kings in 20m south of Durras, but they were only 40cm long. There were what looked like kings on the sounder just north of Montague Is 2 weeks ago, but no-one was catching anything. The giant cuttlefish have made an appearance so there should be snapper around.
camb1988 Posted May 17, 2013 Author Posted May 17, 2013 Thanks Benzeenees. Will definitely have a crack for some snapper and might leave te odd lively out for a king if they have still been lurking around just in case they decide to play fair.
