North Queensland trip

Hi All,

Myself and a few mates are going up to cairns in July for a few days then are looking to do about 5 days fishing somewhere up there. We were thinking of going out to swains reef off Gladstone on a charter for a few days or if anyone has any other suggestions I would be keen to hear them??

We have mates on cattle stations in the cape but we won't have the gear to get to the coastline unfortunately as you need four wheelers and plenty camping equipment.

I've got a mate going to swaines out of Gladstone in 3 weeks so ill let you know.

Everyone I speak to who's been tell me to put it on the bucket list though

Hi mate,

What is your situation regarding travel taking a boat? Have your own car up there? Looking for daily charters or liveaboard type? The possibilities are endless. Cairns is a long way from Gladstone.
