Just seeing if anyone knows somewhere close to lilli pilli to launch a kayak

G'day mate, probably best spot is Wonga rd mate Yowie bay or Bundeena side buts its a paddle! Ill be out this weekend in me yak so if you see an ivory AI Hobie.........going to fish around Gallipolli Point if the water clears, if your keen for an outside mission.....snapper time!

Where bouts do you go for snapper and how far out

Yeah, Wonga rd, Yowie bay boat ramp or Wally's wharf are your closest options. Otherwise if your yak is light enough you could carry it down to lilli pilli baths.

Was planning a easy sail/trawl up and down the shore at Cronulla/across to Bundeena, if swell down; out and about Jibbon Bombie probably, Sat/Sunday arvo, im over at Maianbar.....I will post if definitely heading out,

Hi Cardo

Go down to the very end of Lillie Pillie Point Road. If you have a wheeled trolley or similar you should be able to wheel the kayak down the grassed area to the left of the end of the road (in front of the White House) and get very close to the water from there. The grassed area is a Council Reserve so no problems with access.

If you have Google Earth you will be able to see some spots that should provide reasonable access. All very close to Lillie Pillie.
