Anyone chasing the fin saturday

Hey raiders just wondering who is going wide this weekend in search of fin havent heard any reports for a few days not sure if we should make the trip?

Good work boys small the whispers I've heard are they are extremely wide so be prepared and they are patchy but when you come across a school all hell breaks loose.

A mate hooked a large fin south of cronulla at round 2500 fathoms . I'll wait till they come In closer .

My intell says you have to be prepared to go at least 40nm. Make sure the weather window is on your side. I would love to but have commitments. Good luck.

We went out Tuesday. 66nm out. Found quite a few on the sounder but down really deep. Only had one hit and dropped it. Other boats round us boated a couple. Good size but patchy.

I will be heading out on Sunday as well we got 2 out of 3 last week so I am really itching to get back out . Will be on 21 vhf call for Tie

A starting point guys is 2400 and we were getting them in 19.4 and 19.6 which was consistent temps with others nth of us on others schools. This was from ulladulla to jb and kiama.

Good luck to those heading out as theres alot of water between fish but if your lucky all hell breaks loose.
