Krispy !
Had some old bait in the freezer I wanted to get rid of so headed down to the hacko for a couple hours before sunset. Was planning to target squid but as i arrived i realised i had forgotten my squidjigs at home. Anyways i started burleying up and the usual small trevally, blackfish and bream showed up. Was very hard getting through the smaller pickers but eventually picked up a trevally that went 39cm. After alot more burleying got a legal bream at 26cm. Some small baitfish which looked like whitebait were getting spooked in and out of sight and not long after hooked something decent on a pilchard cube which spat the hook subsurface, didn't get a good look at it but looked like a big bonito. Headed home as the sun was setting, reasonable catch for some old freezer bait. Edited July 5, 2013 by Krispy !
