Cougar2007
Took a run out to the peak this arvo. Complete waist of time. Loaded up on yakkas and slimeys in the bay and headed out. Dropped over a slimey first. Was setting up a 2nd rod and noticed the slimey wasn't twitching. Wound it in and there was a just a skeleton left. Literally only bones and after just a minute or so in the drink. Freaky I can tell you, I was almost worried about the thickness of my hull. Over went a yakka and same result so I packed it in and came home. Beautiful run out there though, got back just in time to miss the storm. Had some fun on a school of trevs that got mixed up in the yakkas. Good pullers on a bait jig lmao. Tight lines everyone

Cougar2007
I actually don't know which ones they were but the main reason I turned around pretty much straight away was the sounder was dead as a maggot. Not a mark to be seen which was disappointing. Maybe they have been scared off by the jackets ???
Mick54
I was out there last week and the jackets were so thick my sounder was showing 18m of water, so your sounder may not have died..
