fishingnoob
Hi Raiders, My first post. I went on a long weekend with the family to The Entrance over the weekend. Took the new rod and was planning on doing a load of fishing, however, the fishing gods were against me. It was possibly the worst conditions I have seen, blowing a gale constantly for four days and didn't catch a thing but a cold. Plenty of people fishing for Luderick at the channel was fun to take my daughter down to watch. On the first day tried fishing under the bridge as i spotted a group of nice looking bream around the pylons and threw everything at them, soft plastics, hard bodies vibes everything but my fishing rod and nothing. On the second day of the trip to Budgewoi, broke my rod, when i wound up the window too far and snapped the end of it off, so a trip to BCF was made and purchased a new Daiwa. But thanks to Aus Bass Angler at Penrith for replacing it. All in all it was a good weekend away as a bad days fishing is better then a good day at work. Cheers Matt
Stapo
Yeah Matt it was freezing on Sunday. Look hate to say it but you should have been here last weekend, fish everywhere, ha ha no only joking, look it's all blackfish from the wall and jetties at the moment, there are flathead but you have to chase them in the boats. Cheers Steve. .
Jew Stalker
Shame about the lack of fish and the snapped rod Matt, it was great of the guys at Penrith to replace it for you. They are nice guys in there, have always looked after me when I am in the area. Luc.
