Georges river

Diesel and I are heading to the Georges for a little land based flick, can anyone give us a heads up on a half decent place to go as we both haven't fished it before. Any info at all would be awesome thanks.

Diesel and I ended up going for a trip into the national park on the Georges river this morning for an hour or two before we had to do a few things but it was really slow. We ended up with only one 8 inch flattie which had a go at my plastic but other than that there was not much to be seen. After I went through the area with a plastic I ended up throwing on a little steel minnow to get out there and see if there were any choppers or salmon about. Still not much luck unfortunately. It looked like a well hammered place but it was good to have a flick before the work started.

If anyone has any suggestions on somewhere which may produce a few fish in the future on the Georges I would very much appreciate it. Feel free to PM me if you like.
