Leech Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Hit the harbour this morning at sunrise with Bully and The Hulk. A little bit worried about the forecast but it was great conditions on a moderate swell. Some good sized schools of winter salmon were busting up early and we caught about 15 between us over a couple of hours which was great fun on SP's and light gear. Some pretty solid ones in the mix up around 50-60cm- All were released to fight another day. Moved in to the bays for a flatty bash and managed a mid size specimen. A good winters day out. Sorry the photos aren't too good it was pretty frantic when it was on.
Yowie Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 A few good fish there. The photos look good enough, nothing to worry about.
fat_souvlaki Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Well done leech. Hopefully water temps rise so we can see some kingy action soon
