josamill
Somebody told me once months without an 'R' ....May - August.......are a no go for blue swimmers. They were wrong. Have caught more in the last 4 weeks than the entire Summer. I only worked it out when I saw a guy at the boat ramp in late June with 6 beauties. I've wasted 40 Winters! Some years they are around during winter, but not all. The no 'R' in the month mainly refers to prawns - no 'R', no prawns.
seacow
The only blue swimmers that I have seen in winter are those people in the water down at Bondi Icebergs.
