manhands
Took the kids out for a quick run yesterday, we hit a nice reef and got a number of fish in just half hour session. Highlight was my first Pigfish, solid fight and delicious eating, reminded me a bit of Blue Groper slightly fatty meat. Got some Abalone in the arvo so a nice entrée and dinner. Water was incredibly clean, but full of these weird polyps, not sure if anyone knows what they are? Looked like a small rectangular jellyfish with a round red embryo? Birds were feasting on them, literally millions of them out there. Also saw 2 baby whales just off Bass Point so a great day for the kids.

Pongrass18ft
Still yet to try pigfish. I saw those clear transparent jellyfish also yesterday sure wasn't any shortage of them, they had a orange colour on them at one end. Chris.
