REEF MAGIC CHARTERS
Well what a day off Sydney... By 10am we had hooked 2 marlin 1blue & 1 striped but managed to jump them both off. We then pushed out further looking for tuna. Another charter boat had tagged a blue & was still fighting another!. Whenever you found good numbers of birds there were plenty of albacore up to 15kg & some of the birds had yellowfin feeding but for us we couldn't hook them. We threw poppers, stick baits & plastics but just watched 50kg fish swim by. Fish were very widespread & plenty of boats hooked marlin & tuna. Quite a few boats got 1 single fish with calls to 80kg. We weighed one for the boys on Bonito that went 84kg back at the wharf. Anyway the bite should continue over the next week but that current is raging to the south. Give us a call if you want a charter. Cheers Damo Edited September 22, 2013 by Reef Magic Charters

Dfishin
Thanks for the report Damo. Sounds like it was a magic day out there. I bet it was frustrating with the yellow fin being so finicky though. Dave

erroll
Top work Damo. We were noreast of Browns then about 8nm below browns. Heaps of birds but no big strikes. Seems we zigged when we should have zagged. That's fishing. I'd better call you next time! I am sure your crew were stoked.
