elferoz777
Is there any real time software that you can access satellite maps that are current? I note with google earth and other maps they can still be quite old at times. This would make planning when and where to fish a whole lot easier...may even take the suspense out of it which would suck... Thanks steve

oz_brett
Ethan13 I just looked at geodistance and images are the same used by google unless I missed something, my neighbours trees are small plants in the image, they now block the sun from our back yard. i was using http://www.nearmap.com/ until they started charging for it. There images were updated every couple of months then with the option to look back at previous images to compare changes. benm
Well, this will be of no help at the current time but in the near future you might want to check out http://www.urthecast.com As you would imagine, live feed would pose some privacy issues so this will only let you zoom to a limited level of detail, once it goes live of course. Twinfisher 4.9
If you are looking for offshore water temps showing current lines, yes there are but are subscription only. Not exactly real time but within less than 12 hours.
