grandad
Hi Raiders Left the ramp at 5.00 and headed north out of the hacking today. Caught the Morwong and snapper in 60 metres first thing, then the wind changed and stuffed up the drift. Moved over to the sand and caught the flathead. Could not raise another fish after 9.00, the bite stopped the current and wind was in opposite directions. Released three mutton birds and won an argument with an Albatross. The mutton bird caught the bait on the way down and brought it back to the surface, the mutton bird was on the top hook and then the Albie took the bottom hook, was panic stations for a few minutes, but all were released unharmed. Back at the ramp at 11.00. Nice feed though. Grandad

Yowie
A nice feed there grandad. As Groper stated, the mutton birds are hungry after a long flight from up north. A few dead ones along the Cronulla beaches.
