okt824
Headed out 6am sunday morninig. Set the spread 3km from wollongong FAD and trolled out to 100-200 fathoms. water was blue and warm (22.5 - need to confirm calibration on HDS7). Trolled south along the 100-200 fathom lines. Ended up directly east of kiama. Turned the boat round and diagonally made for wollongong FAD again. Total for the day was 120km without a single hit/bite. Came across a pod of dolphins and couple of patches of bait but that was it. Targetting marlin over the summer so i will be out as often as work and the weather permits. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Am running a teaser with 20 x 5" inch squids. Using 11" pushers and hawaiian plungers. Cheers
