innovative
Hi Raiders headed out for a bash Sunday morning with the target species being king fish. Got to the boat ramp just before sunrise to get a few yakkas before heading out. We managed about 6 and decided to call it quits as the sun had come up. We headed to the Oar off sydney heads we where sounding out plenty of fish so we sent down a few live baits for zilch. Did about 6 or 7 drifts and still nothing so we dedided to make a move to a in close reef. Managed a few flattie's ,moey's and rasse but still no kings. Decided to make another move over to quarantine head where it was very hard to find parking lol. I counted at least 10 boats. Caught a gummy shark while we where there but couldn't see anyone else having luck so we made yet another move to around north head for a few more reefies before we called it quits. All in all great day on the water but just couldn't seem to find any kings around even with livies and plastics. Oh and we also tried pig and sows on the way in as well. Just curious did anyone manage to find any kings on Sunday or are we all in the same boat Tight lines Rob

benm
Took the yak to the habour on sunday and sent down some yakka at some of the wedding cakes but no takes. Another guy went to cronulla where he got 3 kings 76cm on stick baits in the wash so maybe that is worth a shot.

Some of the guys did well around there last year however I drove in and around the hustle and bustle there and couldn't see a single king on the screen. Don't know but it would be good to know if anyone actually got any. I got told once that northerly winds put off the kings dont know if that's true but that may have been the case. Stick baits are definitely an option if you can find them.
