Jervis Bay Fishing trip

G'day all,

Just planning a 3 day, 2 night fishing trip for 2nd week of jan '14 to Jervis Bay. Wondering if anyone has fished JB these Xmas holidays?

I'll be taking my 4.7m boat. I've read up on ramps etc. Curious what's been biting and wanting to check its worth the drive?

Also would you expect the Xmas crowds to be subsiding by then or still crazy busy?

Any advice welcome.

I was out there the other day mate. just west of long nose point is full of bait sized slimies and yakkas. There were a load of flatties on the drift but most were just under leagal.

I think I borke a recored for warlds smallest flattie, bringing up 2 on a sakkabi rig!

I cant comment on the big stuff though. We were whort of time and nothign hit my livies
