flattiefisher27
G'day raiders Headed down to balmoral today and hired out a boat for a few hours. Drove the boat just out into the moored boats off Balmoral Beach. Cast out and out the rod in the rod holder baited with a cubed pillie. Started to rig up another rod and the other rod bends in half and i go to strike and the fish is gone. Bit annoyed after that and gave up on the other rod and decided to hold onto the baited rod just incase the fish came back again. A few minutes later I was on to a decent sized fish not sure if it was the one from before but it gave a great fight. Ended up being a nice 48cm Flattie a new PB for me so I was stoked!!! It just went quiet for the rest of the day and tried a few other spots and there was nothing much but a few little snapper. Not a bad way to start 2014!!!
