adzo64
Yesterday a mate and I were fishing in rose bay. Soft plastics hoping for a few nice flatties. We ended up with 2 nice 45cm keepers. BUT lost 4 massive ones at the side of the boat. The first and last time I will forget the landing net! They were just too big to lift into the boat, we tried buckets, bags, lip grips but could not lift them. They were easily 75-80cm. It would have been hilarious to watch! All in all a great day on the water though. Get out there if you get a chance! We were using Z-man motor oil plastics. Any one else having success out in the harbour lately? It's perfect conditions. sluggo
Well done, I've tried multiple times for flathead in rose bar for a big fat donut. Always struggled to find any decent drop offs or weed beds to work.
rockfisherman
We've all done it... Forgotten the darn landing net... DOE !! Cost me a kingfish last time I forgot the net. I bought a little scoop net which lives in my tinny, in case I forget my long handled net. Harry If it's to good to be true, it usually is...
