Ray R
G'day raiders, I found this little kids necklace thingo at Avoca last week. I looked at it and thought I could make a lure out of that. So tonight was the night I constructed this super killer bonito lure hahaha. It will be out in the water on the weekend to see if it can catch a fish.. Results to come so stay tuned... Linc
Only a true fisho sees a kids necklace and pictures a lure I love it I still have a timber lure I carved and hand painted when I was about 6, not sure it ever touched the water I should give it a shot one day! GreyNurse
Now THAT's what I'm talking about! Aussie innovation to the fore. That's why we have (or had) one of the best cottage industries in lure creation in the world. Given the right incentive, we could probably make a lure out of a red back spider! mmmmmmm....... Then again..... Still, well done Ray. I hope it catches heaps for you.
quochuy
Awesome hahaha. This reminds me of this lure I made one day when I was running out of lure. I picked up a grass stem on the river edge and thread it through the hook eye. I actually hooked up on something big but lost the fish when the line snapped. rockfisherman
In WA they use shifting spanners when jigging for Samson fish. I threaded an Allen's snake on a jighead which was taken by a flat head.... It didn't take much to fool a fish when it's hungry. Harry If it's to good to be true, it usually is...
