Guest hawkesbass
Hit up the harbour today on a solo session. Started too berley up whilst getting rigged up. First bait in the water ten minutes after starting the berley going in. Got no bites in the first half an hour then the berley kicked in and started getting downs and first fish on the deck soon after around 35cms in the net and back into the action with the next four hours resulting in 14 fish in the keepers net with the biggest going 42 cms and the average around 35cms. I dropped six fish too broken leader while trying to land them left the landing net at home and threw back five just undersized fish. Once they were on the bite it took not much berley at all too keep them biting. Cheers trevor
